We are close to Reno and have been on the train for a little over 24 hours. Both of us slept pretty well in the roomette that we have. A few pictures below…we have taken pictures at most stations we are allowed to get off at and have spent lots of time just enjoying the magnificant scenery of the American West. We have eaten some meals in the dining car and some in our room (I am eating dinner in the picture below in our room). I think everyone should take this trip at least once. The experience of riding on the train, the food, taking a shower while moving, and the incredible scenery make a fantastic voyage. We should be in Davis later this afternoon (right now we are about an hour behind schedule).
