We had a busy day today, but not a whole lot of pictures. We started by riding the Bangkok Metro (the MRT) where we went down to the wholesale markets to look for some fabric for Tari (Kate had to work today so Kate’s mother took us). We shopped for over two hours but she was able to find a lot of the fabrics she wanted. We then had lunch in a food court and then took the MRT again to Kate’s office. Kate’s mom went home on the MRT and we waited for an hour at Kate’s office until she was done. We then spent some time in a cafe and then walked some of the streets of Bangkok looking at the street art painted on some of the buildings. We cut the walking short so that we could come back and pack since we have a busy day tomorrow (we are visiting some more Bangkok sites, getting a massage, and then flying to Bilbao, Spain (our flight is an overnight flight to Vienna and then on to Bilbao). It is our last long-haul flight of our trip since we are taking a transatlantic cruise home from Spain to the US in late October.
