Day 37 – August 1 – Chumphon, Thailand

Such a great day today. Kate booked us a snorkeling outing today that took us to different islands around the area. We had great guides that pointed out different organisms and even did some filming for us. We had a great time.

We finally had a nice day where we could see blue sky and had sunshine!

Our guide had a GoPro camera (or something like it) where he took videos and photos for us. We tried our phones but they didn’t get good shots. I will post some videos below later but here are some pictures from the day.

Spotted white sea slug or nudibranch. We also saw giant clams, coral, sea cucumbers, sponges, and lots of fish.
Lunch time!
Rock with coral and a sea urchin behind it. We saw lots and lots of sea urchins.
Another island stop. This one was fun because we could swim around the rocks and see different areas.
Pin cushion sea star. Unlike most starfish, this one does not have long arms.
Since we did not have cloud cover this evening Tari got some great shots of the sunset.
