We had a restful day at our condo. We took a long walk, watched the France-Morocco soccer match, spent time at the pool, went shopping in Kona, and had a nice dinner. Going to beach tomorrow.
The vegetation inside of a crater in Volcanoes National Park. Many of the old volcanic craters get taken over by vegetation in the rain forest on the sides of the volcanos.
Banyan tree – These trees were planted near Hilo Bay by celebrities (like Amelia Earhart and Babe Ruth) and create a famous landmark called Banyan Tree Drive.
Sunset from our condo tonight. The prettiest sunset we have had yet. You can see the Pacific Ocean over the condos on the other side of the golf course between us and the ocean.
