We left early this morning and drove 2.5 hours to Carmel. We ate breakfast at the Mission Ranch Restaurant, which is part of Mission Ranch which is owned by Clint Eastwood. We then drove down the coast a bit and saw Bixby Bridge and climbed up and down some hills along the coast. We then went to Point Lobos where we saw harbor seals, sea lions, humpback whales, and a weasel catch and carry off a ground squirrel. We spent a couple of hours again in Carmel walking the city. Finally, we ended up in Monterey where we took a long walk and had a good dinner at a brew pub.
